From January 1st, 2021 a new EYP strategy 2021-2025 has been in effect, the first pillar of which sees EYP “as a network that works as a catalyst for active citizenship”. This echoes the network’s mission, which states that EYP is an organisation that inspires and empowers young people across Europe to be open-minded, tolerant and active citizens. Conceived within the scope of a holistic and wider approach in this area, the Active Citizenship Lab is planned as a 4-day hybrid (with both in-person and digital-based components) event, taking place at the end of May/beginning of June 2021, in Berlin (the exact dates are to be determined together with the Head Facilitator).
The Active Citizenship Lab aims to enable a space for training on this area, as well as brainstorming and fostering exchanges among participants on how to gradually facilitate a transformation of the EYP network into a vehicle that promotes active citizenship.
We are currently looking for a Head Facilitator of the Active Citizenship Lab for both a preparatory online phase, and a hybrid event, occurring from Berlin. Please check out the details in the call attached.
The main tasks of the Head Facilitator will be:
- Collaborate with the International Office in the concept and structure of the Active Citizenship Lab;
- Support the International Office with the organisation of the Active Citizenship Lab;
- Moderate the discussions during the Active Citizenship Lab;
- Cooperate with the International Office on follow-up tasks.
How to apply?
If you are willing to facilitate and co-conceptualise the Active Citizenship Lab together with the International Office, please apply with your vision for the position of the Head Facilitator via this link: http://infoeyp.survey.fm/call-for-head-facilitator-of-active-citizenship-lab-2021 until 14th of April 2021 (23:59 CEST).
