I am happy to open the call for candidates for the Governing Body elections on 20 - 28 November 2017.
On 31st of December this year, three seats on the GB become vacant, when the term of Lars-Erik Nyborg, Jenny Ross and Isabel Cantalapiedra will come to an end. This autumn, between 20-28 November, our National Committees will elect two new GB members and our EYP members elect one new GB member. There will be a quota in this election, whereby one teacher will have to be elected.
Exactly in one year from now Rotterdam 2018, 88th International Session of the European Youth Parliament will welcome our network to discuss global issues, experience diversity and different cultures. Follow their page to stay up to date!
"The EYP is a welcoming environment for all young Europeans." (International Strategy of the EYP)
The participants of the Diversity Lab in Armenia are currently working with identity theories and communication models to develop a concept for EYP to become a more diverse organisation. The project is funded by the Auswärtiges Amt.
Our network is a place that gathers young people all across Europe. If your journey has just started some of the terms commonly used by EYPers may seem confusing. We're launching a mini series to bring new members more clarity and explain in detail what really happens when EYPiers come together!😀 -- make it fun! 😎
Summer Academy is currently the biggest yearly training event of the network, building capacities 👓, strengthening international dialogue 🌍 and enabling incredible knowledge sharing 💪 Check out what happened two weeks ago, when European Youth Parliament Portugal - PEJ Portugal hosted Summer Academy 2017 in Porto!
19 chairpersons from 15 countries of Tbilisi 2017 - 86th International Session of the European Youth Parliament are meeting for the Chairs Academic Training (CAT) in Berlin this weekend.
During the training the chairs are receiving input on how to write the topic overview, how to chair their committees and get prepared for the intense 9 days session in Georgia in November!
They are surely very excited to meet all the delegates in 2 months. What about you?
