Yesterday, EYP Luxembourg held its annual Council of Members (CoM) in Luxembourg City. Every year at the CoM, the board presents progress reports as well as future projects like our upcoming NSC. Most importantly however, our members elect a new board! Here are some impressions from our Council of Members and stay tuned to find out about the 6 talented individuals who got elected!

EYP Luxembourg wishes everyone a happy National Holiday!🎉
Even though, technically, the Luxembourgish National Holiday is the 23rd June, people are already celebrating on the evening of the 22nd June. Friends and families gather in Luxembourg City, have drinks together and stay up late to see the traditional fireworks!

EYP Luxembourg is absolutely thrilled to announce the candidates running for the Board of 2018-2019! On Sunday our National Committee will hold elections which will determine the next board.
We would like to wish every candidate the best of luck!

Last week, the Boards of EYP Luxembourg, EYP Belgium and EYP The Netherlands were all invited to the 60th Anniversary of the Benelux Union at the BOZAR in Brussels. With the attendance of all 3 Heads of State, it was an incredible honour to not just attend the event but also for some of us to be given the opportunity to talk to HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, HRH King Filip of Belgium and HRH King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. Here's to another 60 years!

With 4 days left to apply as a board member for the upcoming academic year of EYP Luxembourg, we would like to provide some encouragement for our members, coming from our president Leonore Zutter. Leonore is sharing with us what she believes is the most valuable aspect about being a board member.
We definitely hope to see many of our members applying and would like to remind everyone that this call is for national members of EYP Luxembourg only!

EYP Luxembourg's delegation attended the European Youth Event 2018! From 1-2 June members of the delegation were able to attend workshops in the European Parliament and socialise with other young europeans from all across Europe. The event was also an opportunity to network and acquaint others with the EYP as an organisation and engage with participants similarly passionate about youth empowerment.
