*CALL FOR PRESIDENTS - REGIONAL SESSIONS OF EYP IRELAND*

EYP Ireland are currently seeking four motivated, talented and ambitious individuals to preside our 2019/2020 regional sessions!

- Dublin Regional Session (18th-20th October 2019)
- Leinster Regional Session (January 2020)
- Connacht-Ulster Regional Session (November 2019)
- Munster Regional Session (28th of February-1st of March 2020)

EYP Ireland was delighted to meet today with Michael Healy-Rae, Chairman of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on European Union Affairs.

In a fruitful discussion, members received the opportunity to outline the work carried out by the EYP on both a national and international level. Issues raised included combatting Euroscepticism in Ireland, ensuring integration of immigrants into small Irish communities and promoting youth political engagement across the island.

On the eve of Ireland's state exams, throwback to 2017 - when the European Youth Parliament featured on the CSPE paper!

In Ireland, voting in the European elections takes place today until 10:00pm. At a time when the European project is met with increasing scepticism and uncertainty, it's important to get out and have a say in how you want the future of Europe to look. Only 25% of people in the 18-25 year age bracket voted in the last European election - let's ensure young people get their voices heard this time round!
