Maastricht 2021 - 4th International Forum of EYP The Netherlands
The Digital Generation: Setting an Innovative Agenda
Maastricht 2021 marks the 4th International Forum of EYP The Netherlands, gathering 200 participants from all over Europe from the 15th to the 21st of April 2021 (13th to 22nd of April for officials) to debate issues and exchange ideas under the topic: "The Digital Generation: Setting an Innovative Agenda." This theme is of timely relevance and also ties the event strongly to the region: the oldest city in The Netherlands, Maastricht nevertheless has a rich industry in research, innovation, technology and circularity. While mainly known for the 1992 Maastricht treaty, the European character of this city is much more than just a symbol: nestled between three of the EU’s founding countries, the city knows three languages and is a crossroad of cultures and people. Its University is the most international one in the country.
The Head Organisers of the session are Annelou Snippe and Jarne van der Poel. They are working extremely hard with their Core Organisers Dorith Blijleven, Sam Ravenschot, Daniella Bonilla, Saskia van Berloo and Sofie de Jong to make this Forum a truly exceptional experience for all participants involved. The organising team want this Forum to welcome all participants, consider local perspectives and engage local people, foster innovative ideas and help all participants gain transferable skills.
